Andreas Chrysostomou is one of the few winegrowers and producers on the island to have studied oenology. And to do so, back in the 1990s, he chose the best place in the world: Burgundy. Two things are clear when you visit his winery: his wines are better than those of his colleagues, and Andreas speaks French. On his 12 ha, he produces a few charming table wines, but above all a very good Sauvignon Blanc and Rigas ("King" in local dialect), the star red of his cellar, from the Mataro grape variety.
