OCCUPIED FAMAGUSTA CULTURAL CENTRE

This municipal museum (Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο Δήμου Αμμοχώστου/Politistiko Kentro Dimou Ammochostou, Cultural Centre of Occupied Famagusta) looks back at the 1974 invasion and the fate of the Greek Cypriot inhabitants of Famagusta and the surrounding area. Video projections of Famagusta before the invasion, exhibition on human rights in the northern part, etc. Upstairs, a terrace where you can observe Famagusta and Varosha through binoculars. Café in the courtyard.
