AVGOROU ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM

This museum (Εθνογραφικό Μουσείο Αυγόρου/Ethnografiko Mousio Avgorou) is housed in Avgorou's only medieval-looking house, a handsome two-storey building dating from 1921. It is managed by the municipality and the Pierides Foundation. As such, it boasts a rich collection of traditional objects from the Kokkinochoria region and the whole island: ^19th-century carved wooden furniture, costumes, silverware, ceramics, embroidery and more.
