CAMEL PARK

This theme park is home to around a hundred animals, including sixty dromedaries. The presence of dromedaries in Cyprus dates back to antiquity, and they were used as beasts of burden until the early ^20th century. The park is well designed for children. The entrance fee includes access to swimming pools and play areas. But you have to pay extra for a visit to the zoo (€5) and for a ride on a camel, pony or donkey (€5/7). Also on site: sale of beauty and body care products made from camel milk.
