I had a great time at Le Mat hostel! The hostel was clean, the bed was comfortable and all the facilities were more than adequate. It's in a super convenient location with awesome staff, along with a big common area + decent kitchen. They even provide a free towel! What's not to like?
The only thing is that the shower stall may be a bit small for some, but it was fine for me!

Spazio ricavato in un contesto architettonico interessante,anche dal punto di vista storico.
Posizione ottima,a pochi passi dalla vita notturna,dai monumenti,dal mare...ma in una via silenziosa.
La fermata dei bus intercity è a 10 minuti a piedi.
L'ostello ha poche stanze ed è pulito.Idem per i bagni.
Checkin rapido e cortese.

Perfect tranquility, beautiful building, extra comfortable bed, nice guests, large communal space, the sea just a few steps away. I would go back anytime ❤️

Hostel classique et assez ancien. Tout est grand et vétusté. Les lits disposent de rideaux ce qui est bien agréable.
Les salle de bains sont assez vielles mais fonctionnelles.
L'emplacement est tout bonnement idéal.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! Impeccably clean, very nice looking on the inside, and perfect location next to all the restaurants and about a 5 min walk to the beach. You can tell everything has been thought out well. Each of the beds has a charging port and a shelf and a nice blackout curtain for privacy. The kitchen is really nice and updated and there is free filtered water. Towel is provided even!

- Hot dorms (no aircon on even though it is advertised as part of the facilities and guests asked for it).
- Windows open = Street noise and mosquitoes.
- Terrible communication (take days to respond for a late check in request). 2 people were allowed to check in late to a dorm last night, but I was asked to book elsewhere even though I arrived at the same time.
-No one is there for most of the day to help with questions or even checking in past 2pm.
- This could be a good hostel but it's poorly managed.
I suggest you book an airbnb, it's cheaper and you'll definitely have a better experience.

החדרים סבבה לגמרי כדי לישון, המקלחות גם סבבה נקי לא מרגיש שעוד עשרה אנשים מתקלחים שם.
כן, קצת קשה לישון בגלל כמות האנשים שעושים רעש.

Great hostel with an amazing location. It is a hostel though so your experience will vary based on the people staying there with you, but all in all I fully recommend Le Mat!

Auberge très bien située, à deux pas de la place de l’église. Pleins de bars et restos autour. On y a été bien reçu. Les chambres sont spacieuses et climatisées. Douches et toilettes à disposition de tous. Petite cour intérieure très sympa où l’on peut manger avec la cuisine à côté.
Petit bémol : pièces peu insonorisées mais rien de gênant.

Der Inhaber hatte nachts auf ein Anliegen von mir reagiert. Extrem lobenswert!
Das Ambiente ist sehr schön.
Die Zimmer ein wenig heruntergekommen (auf österreichisch oberkomma)
Weiß nicht, wie das in der Druckschrift zu beschreiben ist.

This hostel has a perfect location. It is right by the Lazarus church and beautiful beach and castle. The interior is very chic, and the check in process was the smoothest of any hostel I’ve ever visited. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. Cyprus is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever seen, and I hope you get a chance to visit!

Bardzo klimatyczny hostel, w zabytkowym budynku, dobra lokalizacja, czysty,zadbany. Duże pokoje, wygodne łóżko, czysta pościel i działająca klimatyzacja, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Jednak jest bardzo głośno! Byłem 3 noce i praktycznie przez cała noc, dochodziły hałasy, trzaskanie drzwiami, krzyki, jakieś inne bardzo głośne odgłosy. Żadna z 3 nocy nie była przespana i wstawałem rano mocno zmęczony. Do tego ciągły smród papierosów ( nie wiem skąd dochodził) niestety okna są bardzo słabo wygłuszone i mimo iż hostel leży na bocznej ulicy, odgłosy budziły w nocy jak i nad ranem… niestety jednego wieczoru nie było gorącej wody, co po cały aktywnym dniu było dość dużym utrudnieniem i nieprzyjemności prysznica w zimnej wodzie. Sam hostel jest pozytywny, jednak mała szansa, że wypoczniesz.

I stayed in the dorm with 10 beds. My bed was very clean as was the hostel was overall. The staff was extremely helpful as well. The hostel is 2 minutes walk from downtown/ city center and the beach. Great place! Would stay again!

Ubicación inmejorable.
Muy buen ambiente y destaco la amabilidad de Gregory, que ayuda para cualquier cosa. Si vuelvo a Larnaca me hospedaré aquí.

I was there only one night with early morning checkout, but my experience was very good. Communication quick, self checkin and location directly in the center few steps from beach and bus stop to the airport (first bus to airport is 6:06 number 425 from beach bus stop) Bed was comfortable and room quiet during the night.

Each bed has a curtain, a lamp, and a *universal* adaptor, which is a stroke of genius. The kitchen is quite well-equipped, and has a water filter. Bathrooms are much better than average. Staff are great. My favourite for a chat is the Filipino lady.

It’s a little bit social, I certainly met several nice travellers. The common area and kitchen are quite open and concreted, so not homely but perfectly functional. Power points are only in one spot in the common area and outside too. That should be improved.

Totally stable wifi, and you can fairly comfortably work there - as long as you get a power socket.
This is my number one choice of hostel in Larnaca.
