MARINA DE LARNAKA

This rather rudimentary marina (Μαρίνα Λάρνακας/Μarina Larnakas) has been the subject of several unfinished expansion projects since the 2000s. The latest of these was launched in early 2022 to accommodate 130m-long yachts. This program aims to attract the yachts of Russian billionaires. Against the backdrop of the war in the Ukraine, however, it doesn't look good. In the meantime, the marina can accommodate around 400 boats (max. 40 m). It occupies the site of the former commercial port, which was moved 500 m to the north in 1973.
