Excellent value for money for this motel located at the entrance of the city, warm welcome. Ask for a view on the forest!
This motel at the entrance to town offers 12 rooms and 3 studios, some reserved for backpackers in dormitories (men or women). Ask for a view of the forest, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a bear! Warm welcome from competent staff. Spacious, modern-style rooms, some with kitchenettes and fireplaces, WiFi access. Outdoor pool open in fine weather. Morning self-service breakfast with coffee, bagels and yoghurt. Barbecues available. A good address at an affordable price.

Perfect and spacious room for a one night stop. The hottub is nice and warm. Enough restaurants in the neighbourhood

I've been coming to Holiday Haus for 9 years during the first part of August. I always tried to get room numbers 1 or 7. This year, I tried room number 12. "Disappointed." The desk had broken drawers, venetian blinds were broken and there was no sink. Next year I will try to go back to rooms 1 or 7. Otherwise I had a great stay at Holiday Haus.

Not PCT hiker friendly. A group of 3 of us wet from the rain/snow with temps almost at freezing at 7:20 am. Lobby opens at 8. We called and asked if we can just sit in the lobby to get dry and warm/leave our bags there. Management just said they open at 8 and ignored us saying we were freezing and cold. Jacuzzi was disgusting. No chlorine I was so itchy when I got out. At the hostel side, they did not let another PCT hiker leave their bag before check in at 3. There’s no hiker box. Dunno if management changed since FarOut comments seems to be diff last year.
