Located on the edge of Twin Lakes and in the sublime Tamarack Lodge, the Lakefront welcomes you to its lake view dining room. Fresh and seasonal cuisine; on the menu, tasty local meat, such as elk cooked in an apple and endive reduction, not to mention a nice menu of homemade desserts. A tip: come in the summer around 7pm to enjoy the most beautiful sunset in Mammoth Lakes. A magical place in the middle of nature, in the middle of lakes and fir trees. You won't regret your visit!

Easily one of the best dining experiences in all of Mammoth, hidden at the Tamarack Lodge in plain sight. The intimate dining room is perfect when the snow is falling and cold outside. The food and wine list is very well curated. I’ll definitely be back.

Super delicious steak and starter of smoked carrot soup. Great helpful and friendly service from the waitress too. Hopefully be back again in the future.

I have to start off by saying weak management is obvious based on our negative experience.
Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu or basics regarding liquor. BTW serve your drinks off a tray.
I ordered our appetizer twice. She forgot. I was very specific about my pork chop prepared medium rare. It was served well done and had to wait and wait for the check back. My go to is Convict Lake Restaurant. Consistent professional waitstaff and the chef always delivers. Restaurants are only as good as its management.
