ROBERT MONDAVI

A pioneer and entrepreneur, Robert Mondavi bought a vineyard in the Napa Valley in 1966 after a dispute with his family, who were then managing the Krug estate. After a trip to Europe, he had the idea of importing French oak barrels to keep his wine in. The adventure began. This is the historic Napa Valley winery where you are greeted by the statue of St. Francis. Several tours are offered to discover the winery and its wines and to learn the combinations with chocolate, cheese and gastronomy in general.
