WANAKA RIVER JOURNEYS

Like many other providers in Wanaka, Wanka River Journeys takes advantage of the natural beauty of the area to organize its tours. They are done by jet boat and also include walking. For a half-day trip, the company offers a boat ride on a braided river and a hike through the Matukituki Valley. For those who wish to continue the exploration, helicopter flights are organized (landing on Isobel glacier). It is possible to extend the trip by 4x4 (with Ridgeline Adventures) or by packrafting.
