ASHBURTON MUSEUM

The Ashburton Museum tells the story of this part of Canterbury through all kinds of period objects and especially everyday objects. Some local artists are also exhibited there. The museum team is particularly committed to education, offering fun and interactive programs and exhibits for all ages (Adventurers Club for children). Several thematic activities, including one on heritage art trades, discovery trails and practical activities including object making.
