Willowbanks Wildlife Reserve is an ideal spot ten kilometers north of the center of Christchurch to discover some endemic species of the country, including the rare kiwi. The center has a guided night bird watching program. In the evening, a dinner show is organized on the theme of Polynesian culture. Many packages are available, including the organization of children's birthdays. A restaurant and a café are also available on site.

Nous pensions que c'était simplement un parc avec des oiseaux mais pas du tout ! Beaucoup d'animaux et le tout aménagé de manière très agréable pour se balader ! Le meilleur sport que nous avons vu pour observer des kiwis (sans glace).
