THE BOG

Open for almost 25 years, this Irish pub closed because of the devastating earthquake in February 2011 and then reopened in a brand new building with its warm atmosphere. Best Irish pub in Christchurch, it rubs shoulders with the local clientele during live Irish music nights or sports matches but also for the bets to the one who will manage to drink 100 pints. Specialized in Guinness, it is also possible to have a hearty bite to eat. Since 2008, The Bog has a little sister in Dunedin.
