KAFFEE EIS

Kaffe Eis is one of Wellington's most famous ice cream parlors, and one of the few cafés open after 4pm. There are two main outlets, on Cuba Street and Courtney Place, plus a small kiosk on the waterfront when the weather's nice again (what a treat to be able to treat yourself to an ice cream by the water and enjoy it while walking along the quays!). Flavours a little less refined than on Duck Island, but delicious nonetheless, and above all, much more generous portions! A few cakes and scones in the window and the usual selection of hot drinks.
