Like many other places on the Coromandel Peninsula, the Waihi Gold Mine Centre is on history related to the gold rush and its industry of yesteryear, with many explanations and interactive activities. Towers are also organized and lead in the footsteps of minors, their techniques, their work and their contribution to the local economy. These towers are done on a van and follow the entire extraction process.
