Raglan surf school is a safe bet. Easily recognizable on the beach with their red T-shirts, the instructors are professionals and know the waves better than anyone. They train beginners in their first steps on the board, but also offer several packages: surf camp, private lessons and, of course, equipment rental. As well as being Raglan's oldest surf school, it often wins awards for the best outdoor activities in the country. Good value for money.
