Great hotel on the shores of Lake Tana, with front-row rooms to admire the scenery, a cosy bar and a restaurant with terrace.

This grand hotel is located on the shores of Lake Tana, offering front-row rooms for admiring the scenery. From the outside, the large 1970s-style building is not very aesthetic, but will delight fans of vintage architecture. Cosy bar and restaurant with terrace overlooking the lake, whose menu could do with some improvement. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, wi-fi, etc., decorated in the Ethiopian style, but too dated for the price and poorly maintained. Some have terraces with panoramic views.
