The wooden St. Joseph's Church (Šv. Juozapo Bažnyčia) in Palūšė, dating from 1750, and its octagonal tower housing the bell are well worth a visit. Note the words engraved above the entrance door: Užeik Geras - "come in good" - and above the exit door, Išeik Gerenis, meaning "come out better". Don't hesitate to continue and take a stroll through the forest. A 3.5 km botanical trail has been laid out around Lake Lūšiai, between the villages of Palūšė and Meironys, to discover over 150 plant species.
