MUSEUM OF FOLK MUSIC INSTRUMENTS

This charming museum presents Lithuanian folk instruments as well as foreign musical instruments. The permanent exhibition has about 7,000 objects including instruments, recordings, photos, posters... During the visit, you can learn about the history of the national instrument kanklės (chordophone) and learn to sing traditional sutartinė songs. A new area allows you to try out some of the instruments!
