PLACE ROTUŠĖS (ROTUŠĖS ROTUŠĖS)

In the continuation of Pilies Street, Didžioji (pronounced "didjiou") Street opens into the square of the former Town Hall, Rotušės (pronounced "rotoutchesse") Square, renovated, now overrun by foreign brand signs. To the right of the town hall, a contemporary art centre has been built on Vokiečių 2. It hosts temporary exhibitions of modern art (foreign short films, painting, sculpture, etc.).
