Housed in the former KGB premises, the museum retraces the hell of the political prisoners who were interrogated and imprisoned in the cells you can visit. It's a very realistic museum that can help you understand the suffering of Lithuanians under Soviet domination. The tour is very well organized and the explanatory panels are in English.

Those interested inthe history of the KGB can visit the Tuskulėnai memorial complex in Šnipiškės district.

Hard, see unbearable with photos of executions and atrocities against the Lithuanian patriots opposed to the Russian occupation. Located in the basement in the vibrant city centre, you can see the pedestrian street to walk it from the sordid and small cells. Not very nice henchmen of the KGB.

Essential museum of any visit Vilnius.
Retrace the history of Soviet occupation in Lithuania (the first deportations to the liberation).
Moving museum where you can visit old cells prisons, as well as a room executions... you do not come out unscathed from this experience.
