Backstage" ambience in this café serving the Théâtre national d'art dramatique: black curtains and walls, a gilded counter lined with tall chairs with emerald green cushions, for those who come just for a drink or a solo meal. From small pre-show aperitif snacks to three-course meals, everything is served with kindness, in an atmosphere that's both dynamic and relaxed. Try the Star Kiss, marinated fish with lemongrass and combawa leaves, and their chicken broth with mushroom empanada.

Opposite the choral synagogue, this bright and cosy den, all white and soft (round tables, rounded chairs, plants) fills your nostrils with the aroma of a good coffee recently roasted by Aistė Košienė and his team. The cappuccino is validated, and the menu of delicacies is rather well-stocked: cinnamon rolls or porridge for breakfast, large slices of rye bread with smoked eel, cream cheese with horseradish, cucumber and egg, or mushrooms (porcini, shiitakes, portobello and pea cream) for lunch. Delicious!

Romantic, flowery ambience in this café celebrating the love affairs of Sigismund II Augustus (last king of Poland from the Lithuanian Jagellon dynasty) and Barbara Radziwiłł, a wealthy local noblewoman; their love affairs caused a scandal because their relationship is said to have begun while both were married. Widowed early, they secretly married, but Barbara died after being recognized as Queen of Poland. The story has inspired many artists... and this café. Come and enjoy the delicious pastries with a coffee or cocktail under a ceiling of roses.

In a very urban and cosy setting, we like to sit back and enjoy a good cup (the hardest part will be choosing between espresso, v60, aeropress, several types of latte, with cow's milk or different types of vegetable milk).
