MALA

On the site of Northern Europe's oldest brewery, the MALA art and community space breathes new life into these historic buildings (the brewery was launched by Emanuel von Sievers, one of the owners of the "new castle"). Alongside creative and exhibition spaces is a café specializing in vegetarian cuisine. Everything is homemade, seasonal and sourced from local farmers. The warm, bohemian ambience provides an opportunity to chat with the small artistic community.
