Located in the Rīga Stock Exchange building, beautifully renovated, this museum is the pride of Latvians. You will find works from ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, Rome, Far East and India from the fifteenth century to the present. Temporary exhibitions change monthly.

Un beau bâtiment qui accueille la peinture et la sculpture étrangères (exclues du musée national qui lui n'abrite exclusivement que des œuvres d'artistes lettons). Eclairage perfectible. De nombreux chefs d'oeuvres des écoles du Nord, d'Allemagne et d'Italie ( dont Luca Giordano). La France est sous représentée par Hubert Robert et Simon Vouet. A ne pas manquer toutefois.
