Historic Voodoo Museum with 2 small rooms and a narrow hallway keeping a semblance of authenticity.
If you haven't seen the specter of Marie Laveau wandering the streets, you might see it here among all the dust-covered knickknacks. Not to be missed to understand an important aspect of life in New Orleans. You can learn about the origin and evolution of this little-known religion, the importance of gris-gris and all kinds of philtres. This museum is composed of two small rooms and a narrow dusty corridor which keeps a semblance of authenticity.

Le passage dans ce musée aide à comprendre l'importance du vaudou à La Nouvelle Orléans. Certes, il y a du monde qui l'arpente, mais il y flotte un air de ferveur et de recueillement chez les initiés.

Vampirisé par le tourisme, ce petit musée qui aurait pu être intéressant n'est plus que l'ombre de lui-même. Il se distingue finalement peu de certains magasins de souvenirs axés sur le voodoo qui se disent musées. C'est dommage car l'histoire du voodoo est très intéressante et mérite mieux.
