AUDUBON ZOO

Located in Audubon Park, the zoo is home to species from around the world living in a lush garden setting. Many are rare or endangered (white alligator, orangutan, etc.), and Louisiana's flora and fauna are widely represented here. If nothing else, it's one of the top ten zoos in the United States according to USA Today readers. Among its most popular habitats are the Louisiana Swamp and the Jaguar Jungle. Store and restaurants on site as well.
