ESSENCE FESTIVAL OF CULTURE

This festival is the essence of African American culture. All the musical artists presented are famous African Americans (Janet Jackson, The Roots, Isley Brothers, Beenie Man, Nicki Minaj, etc.). All styles are brought together and the atmosphere is incredible. Daytime programming is held at the Ernest M. Morial Convention Center and touches on beauty and wellness, food, culture,empowerment, etc.
