JEWEL OF THE SOUTH

Jewel of the South opened in 2019 in an 1830s Creole house. A peaceful patio and elaborate cocktails are the combination that makes this trendy French Quarter bar run by Chris Hannah, Victoria Espinel and John Stubbs so successful. While the cocktails are a hit here, you can't pass up the gourmet menu, which features Wagyu beef tongue, foie gras parfait and a superb selection of caviars, among others. The weekend brunch is just as tempting and the cocktails that go with it are delicious.
