Housekeeping only once during stay. Broken shower door. Faceprint on mirror. No restaurant in hotel. Nice free breakfast. Warehouse district kind of far from Jackson Square.

If I could, I would give zero stars for service. I stayed at the hotel due to a conference I was attending for work. One week prior to my stay, I called the hotel to inquire about a Credit Card authorization form as the room was being paid for by my work. I was told they would send the form to my email “right away”. Half the day went by and I still did not have the form. I had to call a second time and asked that the form be sent to my email while I was on the phone as I could not wait another few hours for them to not send it. I filled out the form and got the necessary signatures before sending it back to the hotel. I received a confirmation email from Springhills Marriott that the form had been received. When I arrived at the hotel, I asked for my personal card to be used for room service and incidentals while the company credit card should be used for the room stay charges. Even though I had this conversation with the front desk staff, my personal card was still charged for the room stay. When I saw the transaction on my card, I went back to the front desk and asked them why I was charged when there is a Credit Card authorization form on file. The staff claimed they never received the form even though I showed them the email confirming they had received the form with an attachment of the form. The staff then became very rude and kept saying they did not have the form. Again, I showed them the email on my phone. After some back and forth they were finally able to find the form and said they would charge the company card for the room stay instead of my personal card. I was told that the pending transaction on my credit card would be canceled in a few business days. I came back from my trip to find that my personal card was charged the full amount of the room stay instead of the company card. I tried calling the hotel multiple times to no answer. I figured it would be easier to talk to my workplace about a refund for the stay than to deal with the incompetent and rude staff at Springhills Marriott. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

Had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here due to a conference. The AC made a loud pounding noise every time we turned it on, the club around the corner played loud music all hours of the night and the hallway of our room always smelled of weed. I had arranged for a credit card authorization form in advance for the other members of my team staying at the hotel and the hotel claimed to have never received them but then when we showed the confirmation we received they were able to find it but still claimed it was our fault.

This would be a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting for a conference or event at the convention center or preparing for a cruise departing from New Orleans. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and the continental breakfast had a lot of good options, including scrambled eggs. (No waffle maker for those of you who live for continental breakfast waffles, but the eggs made up for that for me.) We had a minor issue with housekeeping scheduling during our 4-night stay, but the front desk staff and manager resolved the matter quickly when we brought it to their attention. There were also a few odd maintenance issues with our room, including inconsistent water temperature in the shower and a tricky deadbolt on the door, but overall nothing that adversely affected our experience significantly. I would probably not choose this location again for a visit to New Orleans only because it is on the edge of downtown, so we were at least a 16 minute walk from anything we wanted to see, and from the streetcar. We opted not to rent a car, so this resulted in a LOT of walking, but it was well worth the walking for the lower price than other hotels for this trip.

Perfect for my parade route. First room was big but horrible beds and furniture. Ajoining rooms were much better and very nice. Key cards semi functional most of the time. Good stay.

This is our go to place when we visit. The rooms are plush and the staff super friendly. Very easy to get to the hotel.

Perfect location. Easy walk to Harrahs and short drive to the cruise terminal. Nice room, very friendly staff. Fairly priced rooms and parking.

Amazing time great staff. You have to reserve parking when booking and your still not guaranteed a spot. Otherwise perfect stay

Rude unfriendly breakfast staff. Front desk staff is also not that friendly either. Sean is the rudest. If you come for breakfast after 8am, expect no food left and very long wait for the food to be filled up again. Beds are very uncomfortable. Room service is supposed to be every other day but we stayed for 5 nights, service was only once!! Definitely not the typical SHS!!

I have stayed in many Springhill sweets and this was the worst.
* They didn't clean the room the week I was there even though I requested service twice. I had a pile of trash and no towels by the end
* They had hazmat looking people cleaning the halls during the week (my son had white power all over him after brushing against the wall). I am guessing it was from a fire suppression system, but I couldn't help but feel like I was in danger breathing it in.
* It is close to the conference center but in a sketchy part of the area. I had a guy ask for money and my phone right outside the front entrance. The security guard on the other side called the police, but it would have been nice if he assisted me. I would be nervous going into the parking garage at night.
* Breakfast was ok, but a little weird. Biscuits but no gravy. Everything for a breakfast burrito except a tortilla. Syrup but no waffles. Eggs that were very wet.

Overall solid property- they weren’t offering complementary bottled water for the rooms, but the spaces were clean and inviting. Great parking situation and a good price.

There is a nearby bar that plays music very loudly at night. Hence, I do not recommend the hotel to people who are sensitive to noise.

Terrible stay, no soap, no towels and they don’t clean!

I reserved a room 2 months in advance for a conference. When I arrived, they told me they had overbooked the hotel and moved me into a different hotel 1hour walk away.

I specifically selected this hotel because it provided me with walking access to the conference center (5min). I could not be more disappointed by this service. For a hotel of this standing this is unacceptable.
