Bayona has received numerous awards for its cuisine. Susan Spicer is the chef/owner and Eason Barksdale is the chef de cuisine. Just around the corner from the noisy Bourbon Street crowd, Bayona is housed in a small 1769 cottage typical of the neighborhood, with a charming little courtyard in the back. Try the creamy garlic soup, roast duck breast and any dessert. French and Mediterranean influences are found here, as well as Creole.
