Chef and owner John Harris knows how to take simple ingredients and turn them into a very sophisticated dish. Of course the influences are French and Italian, with a few Asian touches, especially when he mixes raw, marinated and cooked together. The decor of the restaurant resembles a chic Parisian bistro, both romantic and friendly. Try the braised lamb shoulder with gnocchi à la romaine and, for dessert, the goat cheese crème fraîche with poached pears and a very good lavender honey.

Excellente cuisine italienne chez Lilette. De l'entrée au dessert, tout était goûteux. Adresse à ne pas rater à La Nouvelle-Orlénas.
