Located a stone's throw from French Market, Cane & Table honors Caribbean cuisine with lots of Cuban influences. On the menu, beef empanadas, Jamaican pies, ribs with Caribbean spices, tuna a la plancha, black rice with gulf shrimps, crayfish croquettes... As for brunch, the menu is short but very tempting (fried chicken sandwich, crayfish curry with coconut grits, etc.). The place is also highly regarded for its proto-tiki style cocktails (try the Life Raft). Nice courtyard as a bonus.
