MUSEO GUTTUSO - VILLA CATTOLICA

This 1736 villa now houses the Renato Guttuso Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. More than 200 works by this painter, friend and collaborator of Fellini, originally from Bagheria, are on display. The tomb of the painter, author of the famous painting of the Vucciria, is located in the adjoining garden. The museum also presents temporary exhibitions. Note that it was given a little freshening up in 2015, for the pleasure of visitors.
