Corinne and Philippe Kirmann cultivate 11 hectares of vineyards on which all the Alsatian grape varieties are planted. They harvest the grapes manually and their wines are now all organic. The secret of a good wine according to them? An unfailing knowledge of the terroir which allows them to offer a greater complexity to their wines. Their exceptional wines bear the name of Baron Kirmann: this grandfather of the family (born in 1768 in a family of winegrowers from Bischoffsheim) accomplished various feats that earned him the title of Baron d'Empire.

Marie-Ange welcomes you in the company of her sister-in-law Camille, both beautifully dressed in outfits inspired by the traditional Kochersberg costume subtly revisited by the brand Geht's in! La Cigogne en Vrac is full of fruits and vegetables, eggs and cereals, teas and herbal teas, fruit juices, beers and wines provided by mostly local and organic producers. Add to that cosmetics as well as hygiene and home care products, surfing on the wave of bulk sales by conviction rather than by fashion.

At the Ulmer family, the wine rises with reflection. They organize tastings of their products, but also outings to discover wine trails and flambéed pie evenings in the summer season upon reservation. For three generations, the Ulmer family has been cultivating the 7 Alsatian grape varieties in AOP or AOC. An Auxerrois Cuvée du Retraité, a Pinot Gris Cuvée Christiane and a Gewurztraminer Cuvée Floriane (to be tasted immediately or kept) are sure to seduce you.

Since 2005, Christophe (oenologist and engineer) and Carmelle Maetz have been marketing their wines under the name of Domaine Bliemerose: Bliem for "flower" in Alsatian and Rose in reference to Rosheim, the city of roses! For their wines, they seek finesse, elegance and balance and only sell their wines when they judge them to be sufficiently mature. It is important to them that the wines bear the expression of the terroir and the climate of the year. During your visit, Christophe and Armelle will be happy to show you some of their fine wines.
