TEATRO MASSIMO

The third largest in Europe after the Opéra Garnier in Paris and Vienna, the Teatro Massimo is majestic. It can hold nearly 2,000 people and has a stage depth of 50 metres, it's immense! For the various concerts, operas and ballets, count a minimum of about ten euros. In summer, the performances take place outdoors, in different places in the capital. Recent performances have included the following: The Return of Odysseus, an opera by Monteverdi, La Traviata by Verdi and The Barber of Seville by Rossini.
