Hotel offering rooms decorated and furnished in the Art Nouveau style
It is one of the most beautiful and luxurious palaces in Sicily. Imagine a patrician villa from the beginning of the century, surrounded by an exotic and tiered park. Formerly a spa in Igiea, daughter of Igniazio Florio (a family of Calabrian origin who made a fortune in the 19th century), suffering from tuberculosis. This neo-Gothic place built by Ernesto Basile, the Sicilian architect Liberty, and decorated by Ettore Maria Berger, was transformed, after the death of Igiea Florio, into a rich palace in the Arab-Norman style, tinged with exoticism. The rooms are decorated and furnished in the Art Nouveau style, with the exception of the Marina Rooms, for lovers of the sea... It's a marvel! It is equipped to satisfy the happy few: green park, parking, and especially for relaxation: swimming pool, tennis, solarium, wellness center.
Après avoir connu de très beaux hôtels en Europe, ce fut pour nous un vrai "coup de coeur". Nous fétions nos 40 ans de mariage, mais nous y reviendrons en dehors de toute célébration!
