AMUKA LODGE
Lodge, with restaurant, bar and swimming pool, offering spacious chalets with terrace, a good deal in the heart of the Ziwa sanctuary.
In the heart of the Ziwa sanctuary, the Amuka Lodge is a little corner of paradise just a stone's throw from the rhinos. The main unit was built from mahogany beams and planks of wood salvaged from an abandoned sawmill in the Budongo forest, so the bar, restaurant, walkways and verandah look good with aged wood. Each with its own terrace, the ten chalets are spacious and tastefully decorated little wonders. As for the dishes concocted by the queux, they are rather appetizing! Note, finally, the presence of a small swimming pool.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
Unfortunately though, we had a huge miscommunication issue with the staff on email (not the same as the staff at the place) which spoiled part of our trip; though that doesn't warrant a bad review by itself. If you're going, just know that you will need your own car to do the activities, otherwise it'll be considerably more expensive and quite a hassle to organize it.
