Located close to Rutinda, this pretty site is very popular with backpackers and overland trucks, the safari groups that criss-cross the continent, which can make it noisy on certain evenings. The complex is fairly basic, but the location of the safari tents, overlooking the lake, is pleasant. Lively bar overlooking an XXL chessboard. Activities include canoe rental, swimming, birdwatching, etc. Transfer available from Kabale. If you wish to picnic at Bunyonyi Overland without staying there, the cost is US$5 per person.
