Managed by an Icelander who has been living in Uganda for more than twenty years, 2 Friends Beach Hotel is a very nice address. The rooms, close to a small exclusive swimming pool, are equipped with a fridge, mosquito net, teapot, TV and fan (or air conditioner). On the other side of the street, the hotel's attractive restaurant-bar is a quiet place (except on Saturdays when musicians are performing or sports events are broadcast) where it is nice to enjoy a freshly caught tilapia.

I might recommend the grilled full-size Tilapia!
Nowadays, September '23, the hotel and the beach bar with the same name are separate businesses.
Enjoyed the "grilplatter" at an affordable price and the amazing view over Lake Victoria !
