The Post Bus offices, located on Kampala Road, are open from 6am to 6pm during the week (reduced hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday). Departures to Kabale at 8am and 5pm (25,000 Ush, 9.5 hours drive), to Gulu at 8am and 1pm (20,000 Ush, 6 hours drive) and to Kitgum at 8am and 3pm (30,000 Ush, 9 hours drive). If you are travelling to Kigezi (Kabale, Kisoro), via Mbarara, be aware that buses do not leave from the central post office but from the Kasenyi Bus Terminal (payment possible with the attendant). Timetable and fares subject to change.
