In this "universal art gallery", color dominates the works presented. Benito Ortiz (1896-1989), a leading figure of the Trinidad school, defined himself as one of the first Cuban naive painters. A model for the city's young students, he paved the way for a style of his own, recognizable among all. Sculptors, painters and potters exhibit and sell their works on site. The pieces are often very interesting.
