The attack by Che and his men on 30 December 1958 of the armoured train (el tren blindado) will prove decisive in the course of the war. However, the guerrilla units, clearly, will succeed in derailing the rail convoy loaded with regular arms and troops to Santiago de Cuba. Using a bulldozer, barbudos will quickly take the ascendant. Inside the cars you will see the testimonies of the assault and some photos.

Une étape historique
C’est une des étapes du circuit proposé par Havanatour. Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour voir le train blindé lié à l’histoire de la révolution cubaine (28 décembre 1958). Celle-ci peut compléter les précédentes (Cimetière Sainte Iphigénie de Santiago de Cuba et le mausolée de Santa Clara).

Always inevitable tour tours of the city and its history with the che, it is not very big to visit, but you can have a historic idea, and moreover panels explain what is displayed.
