Today, the Center for the Development of Visual Arts is located here and the works of art on display can be purchased. It was built at the end of the 18th century by two famous devotees: María Loreto and María Ignacia Cárdenas, on the same model as the Casa de Lombillo. Its original structure has not been altered much. The woodwork is in the Baroque style. This is where the first philharmonic society of Havana was founded in 1824.
