FRATERNITY PARK
This square owes its name to a historic event: in 1928, it hosted the 6th Pan-American Conference. A Tree of Brotherhood(ceiba) was planted here in the earth brought by representatives of the 21 participating countries. You'll also see busts of some of the great men in the history of the American continent, including Simón Bolívar (Venezuela), José de San Martín (Argentina), Benito Juárez (Mexico), José Artigas (Uruguay), Francisco Morazán (Honduras), Alexandre Pétion (Haiti) and Abraham Lincoln (United States).
