This 62 m high building was the highest in the city when it was built in 1927. A typical example of the eclectic taste of the time, it was considered a precursor of modern architecture. Inspired by the New York and Chicago skyscrapers, it rises towards the sky in a gradation of volumes, which stand out at intervals from their base. The portals are profusely decorated with a mixture of plateresque, Mozarabic and medieval styles.
