The Paladar La Guarida restaurant welcomes you to historic Havana. It is housed in a remarkable building dating from the early 20th century, the location of the famous 1993 film Fresa y Chocolate, directed by Gutierrez Alea. You'll be treated to a unique culinary experience. This benchmark for new Cuban cuisine offers carefully prepared, tasty and creative dishes. To offer the very best, the in-house team selects top-quality, seasonal ingredients. What's more, to bring you the authentic flavours of the terroir, it favours local produce. Here, for example, you can indulge in crispy sweet potato tacos stuffed with smoked marlin marinated in Cuban rum. The cherna à la caimanera also deserves special attention. This dish, which has been on the menu for over 20 years, is a Cuban version of fish in green sauce, flavored with Tío Pepe sherry. The rabbit Provençal à la Caponata will not leave you indifferent either. The restaurant also boasts a fine wine list, with a wide selection of value-for-money half-bottles and glasses. The talented team will help you make your choice, taking into account not only your dishes, but also your tastes. At the prestigious World Culinary Awards 2023, this establishment was named the best restaurant in Cuba. This award testifies to its commitment to excellence. A good address for gourmets!

Vous avez été à la hauteur de votre réputation de lieu emblématique de La Havane. Une cuisine fantastique et un service excellent dans un bâtiment magnifiquement restauré et magnifique.
Nous avons partagé des raviolis au potiron pour commencer, suivis d'un vivaneau rouge à la caïmanero et d'un cochon de lait avec une réduction de miel et d'ananas. Au dessert, nous avons dégusté un gâteau au fromage de style vasco et un dessert au triple chocolat.
Tout était délicieux et magnifiquement préparé. Nous reviendrons la prochaine fois que nous serons à La Havane.
