This park has the highest point in the province, with La Tiñosa, which reaches 1,570 meters. This splendid protected area belongs to the Betic Cordilleras. Mediterranean vegetation predominates. You will see holm oaks growing on the sunny slopes, and holm oaks if the slopes are north-facing. The limestone terrain, with a good network of streams, has allowed the development of rugged landforms and karst formations; the rocky areas have many caves and prehistoric sites (including the Murciélagos de Zuheros cave).
