One of the three remaining gates of the walled city, which marked the southern entrance to Cordoba
Together with the Puerta de Almodóvar and the Puerta de Sevilla, it is one of the three remaining gates of the walled city that marked the southern entrance to Córdoba. It was built in 1507 by Felipe II to replace the gate dating back to Roman times. Facing the Roman bridge, it houses a permanent exhibition room that illustrates its history through texts and photos. Now you can climb up this gate, also known as the triumphal arch or bridge gate, and enjoy magnificent views over the entire city of Córdoba.

À côté de l'office du tourisme et proche de la mosquée cathédrale, cette porte est un des accès de l'ancienne ville. Elle est située au bout du pont depuis lequel on jouit d'une belle vue sur la ville.
