For three days, the town of Alcalá la Real hosts the excellent Etnosur festival, with a program of world music.

Since 1997, Alcalá la Real has been the setting for the excellent EtnoSur festival, which takes place over three days in mid-July and features relevant encounters. The world music program is quite remarkable, with the participation of artists such as Trilok Gurtu, Taraf de Haidouks, Enrique Morente and Femi Kuti. The festival is also an opportunity to attend street art shows, documentary and film screenings, shop at the artisans' market and discover world cuisine stalls.
