Discover the thermal baths of Las Bovedas, the Basilica of La Vega del Mar and the Villa Romana del Rio Verde
Although they are not first-class sites, Marbella retains traces of its Roman past. First, the thermal baths of Las Bovedas, built in the 2nd century AD and found in San Pedro de Alcántara, urbanization Guadalamina baja. The second vestige is the Basilica of the Vega del Mar, one of the manifestations of early Christianity, near the playa Linda vista. Finally, we can also see the Villa romana del rio Verde, built from the 1st to the 2nd A.D., whose black and white pavements will be found towards the beach of the same name.
